Extension Program Areas:
  • Develop, implement and cooperate in range and forage management programming for both youth and adult clientele in the West Central district.
  • Participate in and develop appropriate educational materials for youth range camp, range judging contest, range workshops, beef cattle production meetings, and individual consultation.
  • Develop and publish educational materials based on research results to support the extension mission.<
Research Areas of Interest:
  • Conduct grazing management and systems research at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory and other locations.
  • Specific interests and projects include livestock and plant responses to management practices on upland range and subirrigated meadow vegetation types.
